The Institute of Clean Technologies (ITL) is consolidating its Crime Prevention Model (MPD), which is based on international best practices and structured around the classic “Three Lines of Defense” approach to ensure high standards of institutional governance.
framework
This comprehensive framework reflects ITL’s firm commitment to the values of Transparency, Corporate Ethics, and Accountability, projecting the highest level of trust toward our Investors, Regulators, CORFO, and the Community.
FIRST LINE
The First Line consists of operational management and the Technology Pillar Leaders, who are directly responsible for identifying and mitigating risks on a day-to-day basis.
SECOND LINE
The Second Line includes the Compliance Officer.
THIRD LINE
The Third Line and senior oversight are exercised independently by the Board of Directors and the Oversight, Ethics, and Compliance Committee.
We have a robust system for due diligence, a dynamic risk matrix, conflict-of-interest management, authorized investigators, ongoing training and education programs, as well as masterclasses to foster an ethical culture, taught by industry experts;
We have implemented a world-class automated GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platform with three integrated modules that accounts for and automates ITL’s ethical and sound management.
