ITL Opens Call for Applications to Lead its Solar Energy Area
The Institute of Clean Technologies (ITL) has launched a call for applications for the position of Solar Energy Leader, based in Antofagasta. This key position is responsible for aligning relations with the energy sector, identifying technological demands, and coordinating projects that drive innovation in solar energy for industry and the region.
The profile sought is for professionals with a degree in electrical engineering (or related field), a postgraduate degree in technology management or innovation, and over 4 years of experience, preferably in renewable energy, R&D, and sustainable productive development. Experience in assessing technology readiness levels (TRL/MRL), designing roadmaps, and executing test beds/piloting for TRL 5+ will be valued, along with skills in team leadership, resource management, and regulatory compliance.
The position offers the opportunity to lead the ITL's project portfolio, foster alliances with industrial partners, suppliers, and entrepreneurs, and contribute to positioning Antofagasta as a clean energy platform from its own territory.
